Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

Upon your arrival at the airport, our company representative will greet you and provide a transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Free Day for Trip Preparation in Kathmandu

Today is a free day for trip preparation. We will gather for Mera Peak Climbing Expedition briefing, introduce fellow participants, and discuss the details of our journey in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla and Trek to Paiya (Chutok) (2,730m/8,956ft)

Early in the morning, we catch a flight to Lukla and commence our trek of Mera Peak Climbing Expedition to Paiya.

Day 4: Paiya to Pingkongma (2,846m/9,337ft)

Descend briefly to a low bridge, cross the Kari La pass, and enter the Dudhkoshi Valley. Continue the trek to Pangkongma Village.

Day 5: Pangkongma to Ningsow (2,863m/9,393ft)

Trek across the Pankongma La pass, ascend on a gentle path, and head north.

Day 6: Ningsow to Chatra Khola (2,800m/9,186ft)

Climb, descend, and climb again to reach Ramailo Danda. Enjoy extraordinary views of Mera Peak and Urochordate as we follow the Pasang Lhamu path to Chhatra Khola.

Day 7: Chhatra Khola to Kothe (3,691m/12,109ft)

Trek north with amazing views of Mera Peak. Pass through Tashing Ongma and cross the Sanu Khola bridge before reaching Kothe.

Day 8: Kothe to Thaknak (4,358m/14,297ft)

Pass the 200-year-old Lungsumgba Gompa and discover Mera Peak depicted in rock. Continue the trek to reach Thaknak.

Day 9: Thaknak to Khare (5,045m/16,486ft)

Follow the lateral moraine of Dig Glacier to Dig Kharka, enjoying views of Charpate Himal. Witness the northern face of Mera Peak for an incredible experience.

Day 10: Acclimation and Pre-Climb Coaching Day at Khare

A dedicated day for acclimatization and special briefings to better prepare for the Mera Peak climb.

Day 11: Khare to Mera High Camp (5,780m/18,958ft)

Embark on a steep trek to Mera Peak Base Camp. Continue through Mera La pass to reach Mera High Camp.

Day 12: Mera High Camp to Summit (6,461m/21,1907ft) and Back to Khare (5045m/16,547ft)

A crucial day for the expedition. The non-technical route leads us to the summit, where we retrace our steps back to High Camp before descending to Khare.

Day 13: Reserve Day for Contingency

This day serves as a contingency in case weather conditions do not permit a summit attempt.

Day 14: Khare to Kothe (3,600m/11,808ft)

Retrace the path back to Kothe, celebrating our successful ascent.

Day 15: Kothe to Thuli Kharka (4,300m/14,107ft)

Ascend to Thuli Kharka, passing another Chorten on the way. Stay overnight at Thuli Kharka.

Day 16: Thuli Kharka to Lukla via Zatrwa La Pass

Cross the Zatrwa-La pass at 4,600m, descend to Chuang, and finally reach Lukla village. Enjoy dinner in the Himalayas with our crew.

Day 17: Fly Back to Kathmandu

Today we will collect all the memory of Mera Peak Climbing expedition as we say goodbye to our climbing team and fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 18: Final Departure Day

Departure from Kathmandu. End of Mera Peak Climbing Expedition.
