Lobuche East Peak Climbing to Everest Base Camp, the eastern summit of Lobuche expedition takes us to the Everest region of Nepal. This expedition is a popular trekking peak summit with a stunning view of Everest. Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Pumori are some other mountain views. Lobuche peak is easy to find but hard to climb. As many climbers manage to reach the only false summit of Lobuche East Peak. Later turn back overwhelmed by the summit ridge and real summit less than 200 m away and only less than 100 m above.
Lobuche East Peak Climbing Expedition is visible from many angles. This trail to Larke peak is also like other peak climbing in the Everest region. As other treks, we need to follow the most touristic trekking holiday’s trail of Everest Base Camp. We take a scenic flight to Lukla and begin our trek. We will go all the way to Kala Patthar and enjoy the view of Everest. From here we take our turn and start a trek to Lobuche peak a popular trekking peak summit.
After commencing from Lobuche we reach Lobuche Base Camp. On the next day, we climb to Lobuche High base Camp. Now the final day has arrived for Lobuche east peak summit. W will start our early morning climb. Once we make it to the summit we make our way back to Lukla and catch a flight to Kathmandu.

A short briefing about the Lobuche East Peak Climbing expedition. Furthermore checking of all the equipment before we begin our trek.
Early morning we reach the domestic terminal for our flight to Lukla. We begin our trek to Pkhakding.
After breakfast, we walk through beautiful pine forests along the Dudh Koshi River.
This is the day set aside for acclimatization. While in the Namche village you can hike to the Everest View Hotel.
After breakfast, we trek towards Tengboche. Tengboche monastery is the largest monastery of the Everest region.
We visit the beautiful Tengboche Monastery in the morning and take pictures. Crossing the Imja River before climbing up to Pangboche. We descend into the river and begin the climb up to Dingboche.
We begin today’s hike to Chhukung by walking through stone-walled fields. Imja Khola valley before walking in glacier moraines. From here, we encounter the fantastic view of Ama Dablam and the Amphu Labsa mountains.
We start the day with a gradual climb to Duglha at the end of the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. From here, we climb up a steep trail to Chupki Lara. Here we find an array of stones with prayer flags used as memorials.
We take the trail to Everest Base Camp through the once vast Gorak Shep Lake. We pass through rocky dunes and streams before reaching the Everest Base Camp.
, We prepare for an early morning departure, amid pre-dawn darkness and cold temperatures (-10 to -14 C). We take pictures, enjoy the magnificent mountain panorama. Later, return back to Lobuche for a good night’s rest.
From Lobuche, we trek towards Lobuche base camp. After walking some distance, the path to the Lobuche Base Camp gets steeper and rocky. From the base camp, we continue on a rocky moraine path to reach the High Camp.
Early today at around 12 to 1 am we wake up and have our breakfast before beginning our climb. We will most likely be walking on rock surface up to around 5700m after which we climb on ice. Here, we spend some time at the summit celebrating and taking pictures. Later we get back to the High Camp again.
This is an extra day set aside to manage any unintended hindrances. This extra day will ensure that even if we were to face a day’s set back, the trip will continue.
We trek downhill from Lobuche High Camp and join the Everest Base Camp route at Lobuche again. Upon reaching Pangboche we may also consider visiting the famous Pangboche Monastery.
From Pangboche, we retrace our steps down to the Imja Khola and up through the forest to Tengboche. After passing a chorten, we reach the army camp at Namche Bazaar.
Today we descend on a steep downhill, so watch your step while it battles the rocky terrain.
We catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu after our long mountain journey.
