Manaslu Larkya Peak Climbing initiates from Gorkha along with Larke pass (5420 m). So we take around 21 days to complete this virgin trek of Nepal. Trekking around Mount Manaslu rewards you an excellent opportunity. It is an experience of an unvisited region of Nepal. The number of trekkers interested to visit this trek is increasing day by day. Destruction of Annapurna by roadway has shown an increase in trekkers visiting it. Mount Manaslu trekking has been open for travelers since 1991. It provides spectacular beauties along the border of Nepal and Tibet. This trekking area needs a group of trekkers to visit this place. This place also needs special permits for one to gain entry into this region.

Manaslu Larkya Peak Climbing has unique ambiances. It is dastardly rich in biodiversity. Such things have made it one of the finest tourist destinations of Nepal for the eco-tourism. The majestic Himalayan ranges in this area belonging to cultural diversities. Natural sceneries with high altitudes make it is more exotic. Attractive glacier lakes and fascinating flora and fauna are available all around. Such valuable natural assets make this trek an opportunity of a lifetime.

Larke peak also lies in this route of Manaslu round trek. Larke pass or Larke peak trek is a technical point on this trip. During the climb, one needs to fix a rope for steep climbing. The climbers also need to have very good climbing equipment.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu

Meet and assist by Parikrama Treks representative. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing and Permits Procedure

You will have half-day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley. Parikrama treks will get all the permits ready. A short briefing about Manaslu Larkya Peak Climbing.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Soti Khola (810 m / 7 hrs)

After early morning breakfast, you drive to Soti Khola on a Private jeep.

Day 04: Trek Soti Khola to Khorlabesi (920 m / 5 hrs)

Today you cross the suspension bridge over Soti Khola. Later we trek through the forest on a narrow and rocky trail.

Day 05: Trek Khorlabesi to Jagat (1340 m  / 6 hrs)

Today we will climb to Tatopani which is also famous for being home to the relaxing hot springs. We cross a large suspension bridge over the Budhi Gandaki River. Then climb through the narrow valley to Dobhan.

Day 06: Trek Jagat to Deng (1860 m / 6 hrs)

We head towards rocky ridges to Salleri. From here we will have the view of beautiful Shringi Himal (7131m). The trail from here passes through the river bank to the largest large suspension bridge.

Day 07: Trek Deng to Namrung (2630 m / 6hrs)

Today, we will follow the ascending trail to Rana and then to Bhi crossing many canyons.

Day 08: Trek Namrung to Samagaon (3520 m /7 hrs)

The trail follows the forested landscapes until climbing to Lihi and then to Sho. We will cross many large Mani walls and we will see many prayer flags hanging on the way. We will also enjoy the views of Manaslu (8163 m) and Manaslu North (7157 m).

Day 09: Acclimatization day

This day will be for acclimatization to the higher altitude. One can also hike to Manaslu Base Camp 4400 m. It is a 7 hrs walk up and down.

Day 10: Trek Samagaon to Samdo (3875 m /4 hrs)

Today’s trail will be along with the Birendra Tal under the Manaslu Glacier. The trail will take us through the juniper forests and climbs up to the cliff.

Day 11: Trek Samdo to Dharamsala (4460 m / 4 hrs)

We will descend along the Budhi Gandaki River and pass another trail of Tibet. The trail continues to climb along with the area of the dense forest. There are little settlements along the river bank up to the Larke Phedi.

Day 12: Trek Dharamsala to Larkya Base Camp (5160 m / hours)

We will climb through the lateral moraines of the Larke Glaciers.

Day 13: Climbing Preparation

Today, we will spend a day here to acclimatize and to prepare for the upcoming day tomorrow. Our climbing guide/Sherpa will do the fixing rope and making way for the next day’s climbing easier.

Day 14: Trek Larkya Base Camp to High Camp (5600 m / 5 hrs)

Our trek today begins as we continue on a gradual ascend to reach High Camp.

Day 15: Summit Larkya Peak 6249m and back to High Camp

We begin the climb to the summit early in the morning. Overnight in a tented camp.

Day 16: Trek High Camp to Bimthang (3590 m / 5 hrs)

Today we will climb along the lateral moraine. Further, we continue along the descending trail along the loose rocks.

Day 17: Trek Bimtang to Dharapani (1860 m /9 hrs)

We climb up to the Bimthang glaciers and then climb to the far moraine wall. This way we can avoid the stone falls in this region.

Day 18: Trek Dharapani to Jagat (1400 m /7hrs)

We will walk through the descending trail along the Marsayangdi River. The trail ascends to Kotro and we continue ahead to cross few settlements and tea houses. After lunch, we descend down to the sandy area of Tal Village.

Day 19: Drive Jagat to Kathmandu via Besisahar (7hrs)

Enjoying the beautiful views of green valleys and tranquil villages. We will drive back to Kathmandu crossing many settlements and verdant hills.

Day 20: Final Departure

Manaslu Larkya Peak Climbing  Journey Ends.
