Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival, you will be warmly greeted and assisted by a representative from Parikrama Treks. Transfer to your designated hotel for check-in.

Day 02: Sightseeing and Permit Arrangements

Embark on a half-day exploration of the Kathmandu Valley’s cultural treasures. Meanwhile, Parikrama Treks will take care of securing all necessary permits for your Manaslu Larkya Peak Climbing adventure. Expect a brief orientation on the Larkya Peak Climbing expedition.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola (810 m / 7 hrs)

Commence the journey with an early breakfast, followed by a scenic drive to Soti Khola aboard a private jeep.

Day 04: Trek from Soti Khola to Khorlabesi (920 m / 5 hrs)

Cross the suspension bridge over the Soti Khola and traverse through a narrow, rocky trail within a dense forest.

Day 05: Trek from Khorlabesi to Jagat (1340 m / 6 hrs)

Ascend to Tatopani, renowned for its hot springs, crossing a large suspension bridge over the Budhi Gandaki River. Climb through the narrow valley to reach Dobhan.

Day 06: Trek from Jagat to Deng (1860 m / 6 hrs)

Embark on a trail leading to rocky ridges and Salleri, offering panoramic views of Shringi Himal (7131m). Cross the largest suspension bridge along the river bank.

Day 07: Trek from Deng to Namrung (2630 m / 6 hrs)

Ascend through Rana and Bhi, crossing numerous canyons along the way.

Day 08: Trek from Namrung to Samagaon (3520 m / 7 hrs)

Wander through forested landscapes, passing through Lihi and Sho. Marvel at the Mani walls, prayer flags, and breathtaking views of Manaslu (8163 m) and Manaslu North (7157 m).

Day 09: Acclimatization Day

Dedicate this day to acclimatization at higher altitudes. Optionally, take a 7-hour hike to Manaslu Base Camp at 4400 m.

Day 10: Trek from Samagaon to Samdo (3875 m / 4 hrs)

Follow the trail along Birendra Tal under the Manaslu Glacier, passing through juniper forests and climbing up to a cliff.

Day 11: Trek from Samdo to Dharamsala (4460 m / 4 hrs)

Descend along the Budhi Gandaki River, encountering a trail reminiscent of Tibet. Continue through dense forests with settlements along the riverbank up to Larke Phedi.

Day 12: Trek from Dharamsala to Larkya Base Camp (5160 m / 6 hrs)

Climb through the lateral moraines of the Larke Glaciers.

Day 13: Climbing Preparation

Spend the day acclimatizing and preparing for the Larkya Peak Climbing expedition. Our climbing guide/Sherpa will fix ropes and make preparations for the ascent.

Day 14: Trek from Larkya Base Camp to High Camp (5600 m / 5 hrs)

Embark on a gradual ascent, reaching High Camp.

Day 15: Summit Larkya Peak (6249m) and return to High Camp

Begin theLarkya Peak Climbing summit early in the morning and spend the night in a tented camp.

Day 16: Trek from High Camp to Bimthang (3590 m / 5 hrs)

Climb along the lateral moraine and descend along a trail scattered with loose rocks.

Day 17: Trek from Bimtang to Dharapani (1860 m / 9 hrs)

Ascend to Bimthang glaciers and climb to the far moraine wall to avoid stone falls. Descend through the Marsayangdi River.

Day 18: Trek from Dharapani to Jagat (1400 m / 7 hrs)

Navigate a descending trail along the Marsayangdi River, passing through Kotro and several settlements. After lunch, descend to the sandy area of Tal Village.

Day 19: Drive from Jagat to Kathmandu via Besisahar (7 hrs)

Enjoy scenic views of green valleys and tranquil villages on the return drive to Kathmandu.

Day 20: Final Departure

The memorable journey of Manaslu Larkya Peak Climbing comes to an end.
