Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

Meet and assist by a Parikrama Treks representative. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 02: Lobuche Peak Climb Preparation

Receive a short briefing about the Lobuche East Peak Climbing expedition. Conduct a thorough check of all equipment before commencing the trek.

Day 03: Flight to Lukla (2,800 m/ 40 min). Trek to Phakding (2,652 m / 4 hrs)

Early in the morning, proceed to the domestic terminal for the flight to Lukla. Meet with the Lobuche East Peak Climbing team of Parikrama Treks. Begin the trek to Phakding.

Day 04: Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m / 6 hrs)

After breakfast, traverse beautiful pine forests along the Dudh Koshi River.

Day 05: Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)

This day is reserved for acclimatization. While in Namche village, take the opportunity to hike to the Everest View Hotel.

Day 06: Trek Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870 m /6 hrs)

After breakfast, trek towards Tengboche. Tengboche Monastery is the largest monastery in the Everest region.

Day 07: Trek Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m / 6 hrs)

Visit Tengboche Monastery in the morning, capturing picturesque moments. Cross the Imja River before climbing up to Pangboche. Descend into the river and begin the ascent to Dingboche.

Day 08: Acclimatization at Dingboche

Embark on a hike to Chhukung, passing through stone-walled fields and the Imja Khola valley. Witness stunning views of Ama Dablam and the Amphu Labsa mountains.

Day 09: Trek Dingboche to Lobuche (4940 m / 6 hrs)

Commence the day with a gradual climb to Duglha at the end of the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. Ascend a steep trail to Chupki Lara, where stone memorials with prayer flags are found.

Day 10: Trek Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 m), visit Everest Base Camp (5,364 m / 7 hrs)

Follow the trail to Everest Base Camp through the once vast Gorak Shep Lake. Pass through rocky dunes and streams before reaching Everest Base Camp.

Day 11: Hike Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5545m). Back to Lobuche (4940m/ 8 hrs)

Prepare for an early morning departure to Kala Patthar, capturing breathtaking views of the mountain panorama. Return to Lobuche for a restful night.

Day 12: Trek Lobuche to High Camp (5,400m 4 hrs)

From Lobuche, trek towards Lobuche Base Camp. As the path steepens and becomes rocky, progress to the High Camp on a moraine path. Tomorrow is the main day for Lobuche East Peak Climbing summit.

Day 13: Climb Lobuche High Camp to Summit (6,119 m). Back to High Camp: 8-10 hrs

Begin the climb early in the morning, transitioning from rocky surfaces to ice around 5700m. Spend time at the summit, celebrating and capturing moments before returning to High Camp.

Day 14: Reserve day

This day serves as a contingency for any unforeseen hindrances, ensuring the trip remains on schedule.

Day 15: Trek Lobuche High Camp to Pangboche (3930 m / 9 hrs)

Descend from Lobuche High Camp, rejoining the Everest Base Camp route at Lobuche. Consider visiting the Pangboche Monastery upon reaching Pangboche.

Day 16: Trek Pangboche to Namche Bazaar: 4-5 hrs

Retrace steps from Pangboche down to the Imja Khola, through the forest to Tengboche, and finally reach Namche Bazaar.

Day 17: Trek Namche Bazaar to Lukla: 6-7 hrs

Descend steeply from Namche Bazaar, navigating the rocky terrain with caution.

Day 18: Flight to Kathmandu

Today we say goodbye to the Lobuche East Peak Climbing team. Take an early morning flight to Kathmandu after the challenging mountain journey.

Day 19: Final Departure

The Lobuche East Peak Climbing journey concludes.
