Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will extend a warm welcome to ensure a comfortable night at the hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Exploration and Tour Preparation
Explore the vibrant Kathmandu Valley, beginning with visits to Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and concluding with a drive to Basantapur Durbar Square to prepare for the upcoming tour. Later a short briefing about the Guerrilla trek.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Beni (830m) – 8 Hours
Embark on an 8 to 9-hour drive to Beni, offering breathtaking views of the Trishuli and Marshyangdi Rivers up to Pokhara.
Day 04: Beni to Takam (1665m) – 6 Hours
Drive from Beni to Darbang (24 km) and conclude the day with a pleasant walk to Takam for overnight stay.
Day 05: Takam to Lamsung (2250m) – 6 Hours
After breakfast, continue trekking to Lamsung, relishing the natural beauty of the wilderness. Encounter few foreigners in this remote trekking route.
Day 06: Lamsung to Gurjaghat (3020m) – 7 hours
Begin early to journey through dense pine forests, catch a glimpse of musk deer, and enjoy panoramic views of the Dhaulagiri range up to Churen Himal.
Day 07: Gurjaghat to Dhorpatan (2860m) – 5 Hours
Cross Myagdi, enter Baglung district, and explore the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve, known for its rare plants and conserved animals.
Day 08: Dhorpatan to Nisi Dhor – 5 Hours
Witness the bird paradise of Dhorpatan before proceeding to Nisi Dhor, where rare migratory species, including the national bird of Nepal (Danphes), can be observed.
Day 09: Nisi Dhor to Tallo Sera – 7 Hours
Leave Baglung district, trek through picturesque villages in Rukum District, and reach Tallo Sera for a peaceful night’s rest.
Day 10: Tallo Sera to Rujhi Khola – 6 Hours
Continue trekking through the beautiful Lukum village, inhabited by Magars and Dalits. Explore their unique cultures and traditions before reaching Rujhi Khola for the night.
Day 11: Rujhikhola to Thabang (1975m) – 5 Hours
Resume your trek to Thabang, known as the cradle of the Maoist revolution. Learn about the village’s history during your leisure time.
Day 12: Thabang to Jalja La (3414m) – 5 Hours
Reach the highest point of the Guerrilla trek at Jalja La Pass, offering breathtaking views of Api Saipal and Dhaulagiri.
Day 13: Jalja La to Jelbang – 6 Hours
Begin your return journey, following the main trail to Jelbang, a village with a mix of ethnic cultures. Spend the night in a tented camp.
Day 14: Jelbang to Suliochaur – 6 Hours
Continue your trek to Sulio Chaur, concluding your journey through areas that were once rebel bases.
Day 15: Suliochaur to Kathmandu – 13 Hours
Return to Kathmandu with an approximately 11-hour drive.
